House C Program

Is designed to be a young person’s introduction to the sport of Softball. The program emphasizes FUN, ACTION, and a POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE with a gradual introduction to non-stressful competition. The goal is to improve every player’s self confidence and practice the skills necessary to successfully take part in the (adult) game of Softball in later years.  Sessions are 1 hour in length, twice per week from mid April ending in June.

U9 (8 to 9 years old, mixed gender)

• Pitching machine is used although a tee is used after 5 pitches
• no score keeping, no stealing, parents/ coaches umpire

U11 (10 to 11 years, gender separated)

• players pitch, score keeping, stealing is allowed in mid-season
• parents/ coaches umpire.

U13 (12 to 13 years old, gender separated)

• players pitch, score keeping, stealing is allowed
• umpires available.

U15, U17, U20 (14 to 20 years old, gender separated)

• players pitch, score keeping, stealing is allowed
• umpires available.
