The SSWR Lime Drivers, coached by Stefan Durston followed up their May Madness tournament win last weekend at home with a gold medal in Abbotsford.
The Lime Drivers went 6 wins, 0 losses to take home the top prize in Abbotsford Minor Softball's May 12-14 fifth annual Spirit of the Game tournament for U11 recreational teams. The North Shore Stars took silver. This 16 team tournament is one of the AMFA’s signature events, Spirit of the Game provides those new to the game an incredible tournament experience with an opportunity to build connections with teammates, participate in skills competitions, play lots of ball, and explore the joy of sport.
